Full Journal pdf2003-05-21 House Journal Page 2086 HB 214 Representative Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that the House consider the Senate message (page 2063) on the following at this time: 2003-05-21 House Journal Page 2087 CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 214(JUD) "An Act relating to the recovery of punitive damages against an employer who is determined to be vicariously liable for the act or omission of an employee; and providing for an effective date." and SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 214(JUD)(efd fld S) "An Act relating to the recovery of punitive damages against an employer who is determined to be vicariously liable for the act or omission of an employee." (technical title change) There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Coghill moved that the House concur in the Senate amendment to CSHB 214(JUD), thus adopting SCS CSHB 214(JUD)(efd fld S), and recommended that the members vote yes. The question being: "Shall the House concur in the Senate amendment to CSHB 214(JUD)?"
